Inexperienced mechanical engineers earn hourly wage between R125 and R236
Workers with 25 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between R42 210 and R94 202 per month. Workers in this occupation starting out on the job, with 1 year of experience, can expect to earn between R125 and R236 per hour.
Mechanical engineers mostly male
