Majority judges satisfied with job

Inexperienced judges earn hourly wage between R103 and R218

Based on our survey, employees with 20 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between R41 854 and R87 347 per month. Workers earn between R103 and R218 per hour at the start of the career, having 1 year of work experience.

Judges mostly female

Most workers are female, based on the survey results. The age group for workers who answered the survey was mostly between 30 and 39 years of age. 54% of workers in this occupation have 1 child or more.
