Highest salary for shop supervisors with 30 years of experience: R9 450 to R24 029 per month

Based on our survey, workers in this occupation with 30 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between R9 450 and R24 029 per month. Employees who have 25 years of work experience, earn between R46 and R112 per hour.

The age group for workers in this occupation who answered the survey was mostly between 30 and 39 years of age. 57% says they are male, while 43% entered female as their gender. 62% of employees are parents of at least 1 child.

Average working week of 41 hours

Employees work 41 hours per week on average. Coverage by collective bargaining amongst people in this job is 1%, while 99% are not covered by a collective agreement, according to our survey.

43% of shop supervisors fewer than 5 years of work experience

People in this job mostly work in organisations consisting of 500 or more people. In most cases, workers in this occupation report that the majority of their coworkers are male.
